KOMUNIKASI SOSIAL KOMUNITAS GORONTALO BAIK (Analisis Fenomenologi Aktivitas Komunitas Relawan Goroba di Gorontalo)

Abstract

This research was carried out because more and more communities are taking important roles in society, including in social activities. In Gorontalo, one of the communities that is quite active in social activities calls itself the Goroba.

By using Alfred Schult's phenomenological analytical framework, this research aims to reveal how social communication occurs in Goroba communities. All phenomenological rules starting from data collection, selecting informants, data processing to drawing conclusions are applied in this research. Simply put, the research results show that social communication in the Goroba community occurs between fellow volunteers, volunteers and patients, and volunteers and patients' families. It is characterized by a family attitude, mutual assistance, and enthusiasm. Apart from that, through Alfred Schutz's phenomenological approach, the research also found the motives, meanings and communication experiences experienced by volunteers when they were involved in missions and assisting patients.
